摘要

A highly sensitive and selective two-photon fluorescence probe for catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) was developed via regioselective masking of one hydroxyl group of the substrates. The probe served as an efficient tool for biological sensing and bio-imaging of COMT in complex biological systems, as well as for high-throughput screening of COMT inhibitors. The strategy used in this study also sheds new light on the development of fluorescent probes for other conjugative enzymes.
