摘要

Alkaline electrochemical hydrogen evolution is greatly limited by the sluggish kinetics of Volmer-step. In article number 1600794, Gengfeng Zheng and co-workers develop a Pt-decorated Ni3N nanosheet catalyst, capable of accelerating the Volmer-step and exhibiting superior hydrogen evolution performance. A novel hybrid cell based on this catalyst and a Li metal is demonstrated to achieve simultaneous hydrogen evolution and electricity generation.
